Every hosting site from a university to a cable company uses webmail, and HostGator is no exception. In fact, sometimes it is better to have a dedicated email on your website then to depend on email accounts like Gmail or yahoo. It is simpler to create then you think it is.
First, if you have not already registered for an account, including using a HostGator coupon code when applicable, do so first. Next, create your website. You can use WordPress, Joomla, amongst others to do this step. Once you create the website, start creating the email address associated with your account and website.
Go into Cpanel, and look under Mail. Click email, and it will take you to a screen that will allow you to create an account. Please note, by default, an email account has already being created the moment you signed up for an account with HostGator. Again, creating an email account is just that simple. Just take a look at who utilizes the site and create one.
